Ego – About political correctness and “nigger” part 2 [Eng]

The intention is what makes it offensive and we, the society, change the meaning and spelling of words according to our own needs but it only takes a certain philosophical approach to language and life itself to devoid a word of all its meaning and intention.

From my personal experience, all the times I've been told "¡la puta que te parió!" (the whore that gave you birth [by naturally pushing]), which is a very typical insult in Castellano, I never flinched at it because I was not born by pushing but surgically and this is a reality that has been part of my life and idiosyncrasy. Hence the insult never takes in with me. Besides, my mother has always been more virginal than the virgin Mary herself so the whore part doesn't work either.

There will always be people thinking that they are better than the rest as a direct result of their own fears, which they think  provides sense to their distorted way of approaching reality however it is up to us, the rest that don't think nor live in this way, to put a barrier to it by simply understanding why they are saying what they say and nullifying all the possible negative connotations of their words using our intellect rather than our guts and insecurities.
